If you are engaged in international business operations and if you make and receive payments in the EU and other parts of the world, you are certainly interested in having a European bank account. Setting up a corporate account in Europe with a traditional bank is a rather challenging task for a non-resident of the EU. However, there is a Payment Service Provider (PSP) in the Netherlands that is prepared to open accounts with European IBANs for corporate entities registered outside the European Union. All forms of company ownership are welcome to apply for banking services to the Dutch PSP including sole proprietors as well as bloggers and influencers.

Q Wealth experts will be happy to provide full support in setting up a business account in the Netherlands. Even companies engaged in some high-risk activities can apply for banking services in Europe! Please do not hesitate to request a free consultation on the matter.

Advantages of setting up a non-resident business account in the Netherlands

The Dutch Fintech company that we are promoting here is a licensed financial institution working under the supervision of the Central Bank of Netherlands. The PSP guarantees security of all payments and all assets kept there. In addition to that, it provides the opportunity to order a debit card that can be used for payments in most countries of the world.

The banking landscape has changed significantly over the recent years. Traditional banks now have to compete with multiple electronic payment systems and the so-called neobanks. The competition is toughening because unlike traditional banks, PSPs do not put forward extremely strict requirements to their potential clients. Their fees are normally lower than the fees charged by banks and their services are as reliable and secure.

The Dutch PSP that we are describing does not give out loans nor uses the clients’ money in any other way. This will make the capital that you keep with the payment system perfectly safe.

In addition to opening a corporate account with the Dutch PSP, you can also register a domain name with its help. The names of the company owners as well as the names of the domain owners will remain highly confidential. Your IBAN will start with ‘NL’ if you choose to set up a business account with the Dutch PSP.

Main benefits of setting up a business account with the Dutch PSP

The main benefits that you will find if you open a corporate account in the Netherlands include the following ones:

  • Client support in the English language;
  • Online banking opportunities that allow making payments from wherever you are at the moment;
  • Mobile banking opportunities;
  • No account opening fee;
  • A unique European IBAN at no extra charge;
  • A debit pay card;
  • Accounts in more than one currency;
  • Currency conversion at favorable rates;
  • Domain names providing for owners’ confidentiality;
  • SEPA, SWIFT, Wire, ACH, and US Check payments;
  • An opportunity to make bulk payments (you can make several outgoing transactions at a time).

We would like to stress that the Dutch Fintech company should be of interest to bloggers, freelancers, and influencers. People with these occupations are going to face no problems opening corporate accounts with the Dutch PSP if they do not come from sanctioned countries and if they succeed at going through the client identification procedures. Most other payment systems (let alone traditional banks) make it more difficult for foreign clients to obtain services from them. The Dutch PSP that we are advertising is truly unique in this respect.

Notice blue

The Dutch PSP positions itself as an ‘adult-friendly service’. Webcam broadcasters, model agencies, and other companies engaged in ‘adult’ business are welcome to apply for banking services to the Dutch payment system. Each application from such a company will be considered individually, however.

Restrictions that may apply

Some companies whose business activities are traditionally qualified as ‘high-risk’ can open a corporate account with the Dutch PSP. Some other high-risk companies may be unable to do that. Services can be denied to the companies of the following types:

  • A company working without a license where a license is required;
  • Trading and financial institutions;
  • Charitable foundations.

The Dutch payment system is prepared to provide banking services to offshore-registered and international companies. Problems may arise if a company UBO or a shareholder is a citizen of a sanctioned country.
